A request

I really quite fancy trying out yoga, I’ve attempted it a few times on the Wii but I find the board cumbersome and not very ‘fat friendly’ I guess. Do any of my fat followers out there do yoga? Am I likely to be able to get into it without any fuss or is it also seen as something just for slim people? And do you have any resources I could look at?

    Living 400lbs writes a bit about yoga. http://living400lbs.wordpress.com/2008/11/26/yoga-videos-books-i-have-known/ I...
  5. hippias answered: I thought the same when I was starting, but it’s not like that, it’s a great exercise and you feel better after spending an hour on the mat
  6. nonalignedinterests answered: yep, although I am not fat any more. Ashtanga is a good workout. Sun Salutations for 20 min a night will cut you up good. Do It.
  7. uhfrayedknot answered: I do! Any beginners class will accommodate your needs. And I’d say flexibility counts more than size. It’s fun, give it a try!
  8. slothgoth answered: Yoga is a great exercise for all bodies. I go to a local class, but I started out with a video at home to ease my intial nervousness. :)
